On a blazing hot day in early April, Sarah and Nate were married on the bow of the SS Moyie steam wheeler, a national historic site in Kaslo. Well over a century ago, the steam wheeler began ferrying adventurous people up and down Kootenay Lake, introducing them to this special spot in the world. The ceremony location was a grand tribute to Sarah and Nate’s mutual love of Kaslo’s character and their contagious lust for life.
After the ceremony, we then took another much smaller boat to the secluded family cabin across the lake. And while I won’t be sharing the skinny dipping photos, I can say I was marginally jealous I couldn’t jump in the drink, too. Someone had to photograph it!
Sarah and Nate, thank you for being your incredible selves! Double high fives to you!!
