Every summer, two families reunite with their grandparents at their home on Kootenay Lake. It goes by too quickly, and the kids are growing too fast. Using family photojournalism to document one of their days together helps everyone remember these precious, fleeting times. They wanted a Nelson BC Family photographer to document how special these times are. This is a day in the life family photography with the Besangers.
In Day in the Life session, I spend up to 14 hours with your family. I start in the morning as the kids are waking, and leave after most everyone has gone to bed. Documentary family photography captures the natural, real moments that define who you are and what you value as a family. For the Besangers, it was this summer week when everyone gets together.
We walked through the forest. We hung out on the beach. We had yummy snacks. We went back to the beach. And we finished the day with a few family portraits for the wall.
With the Day in the Life session, you get an album. When you hold these images, your moments, in your hands, something truly powerful happens. You get a glimpse into your life that you might not have had before. You get to see something in another way, not realizing how significant it is to your family and your history. Unlike sitting in front of a camera and smiling, documenting who you really are and what you value makes extraordinarily meaningful photographs.
