Fall is a wonderful time for incredible Nelson BC engagement photography. Obviously the colours are amazing! But even better, if your engagement session is in a different season than your wedding, you’ll have lots of photographs from different places and times. Variety is the best!
Meet Tara and Patrick. When we met in a cafe to talk about their wedding, two things were obvious: they are kind and warm, and they deeply love one another. I felt a certain admiration for the small gestures they shared, almost as if they spoke a language made up for each other. We set up a time to meet for their Nelson BC engagement photography in the fall.
At engagement sessions, I try to capture the sense I have of your relationship. With Tara and Patrick, there is a gentleness but also a thrill in how they feel together. We chose a warm autumn morning along Kootenay Lake for their engagement photos, a fitting metaphor for their connection.
Engagement Photography makes Wedding Photos Better!
All of my wedding photography packages include engagement photography. People usually want engagement photos for their invitations, wedding website or save-the-dates. But engagement photos are even more valuable than the photos themselves. During your engagement photography session, we all get comfortable together and with the camera. This makes your wedding photos smooth, fun and easy.
Couples are sometimes worried about how awkward they’ll be in their wedding photos. Honestly, nearly everyone feels awkward in front of the camera. But your engagement photography session gets rid of most of the awkward–or at least makes us familiar with the awkwardness! You’ll also learn how I work, how I communicate and just how easy I make these sessions. Knowing what to expect from your wedding photographer makes your wedding photos so much better.
I have a few fall 2019 wedding dates open. I would love to talk with you about your wedding, and what to expect from your engagement and wedding photography. Contact me here, I’m excited to meet you both!
